14/9/2019 - Return of Perpetual Trophies

There's only two races left for this season, so could anyone that has a perpetual BOFRA trophy from last year please arrange to return them either at Embsay or Wasdale Fell Race so we have time to get them engraved for this years presentation. If you are not coming to either of those, you could also drop them off at Great Whernside, English Schools Fell Champs or Withins as some of us will be around at those races.

02/09/2019 - Embsay Fell Race

Embsay Fell race will return to back to its original route this year, starting in the field just behind the small car park.

Also there will be a raffle, so again donations of prizes appreciated. Finally, please remember that due to the dry conditions we have a no smoking ban in place on any of the land that we are allowed to use for this race.

20/06/2019 - Shortened Senior Route for Kirkby Gala

2/5/2019 - No Smoking - All Races

Recent moorland fires have reminded us all that the land remains dry and fire risk is high.
Also, some of the landowners over whose land our races run have requested a smoking ban.
Consequently, BOFRA has decided upon a strict no smoking policy at ALL races.
The ban covers all areas such as registration fields and land along the route of the race.
Thank you for your co-operation
