There was a newcomer on the winners rostrum as Mark Lamb of Keswick AC, claimed victory in this years Kilnsey Crag race in a time of 8.03 after a close finish with earlier favourites, Nick Swinburn and Finlay Grant. First Lady home was Helen Smith of Wharfedale Harriers in a time of 10.49 having also earlier won the handicapped 1500m race.
