Membership Information
Following on from last year once members have completed a form which gathers all required information for each member, including emergency contacts etc. at the start of the season, it will no longer be necessary for members to complete an entry form at BOFRA championship races, instead they will just need to inform us their intention to run and pay their entry fee. You still need to complete an entry form as normal at non-championship races.
2023 Membership Applications.
Membership for the 2023 BOFRA season is now closed.
The race fees remain the same as last season and apply to all BOFRA organised races:
- Juniors £2
- Seniors £5
The entry fees for races which take place at shows and galas vary. Please check the relevant web page for details
If you would like to submit or update a runner profile, the Member/Runner profile forms can be downloaded from here 
, then email it to the WEB site administrator at webadmin.
Please note: The application form carries the following disclaimer which should be signed by each
applicant (or responsible parent for runners under 18).
“All BOFRA races are run in accordance with the rules and safety requirements of BOFRA and/or the FRA. I confirm that I will familiarise myself with the Organiser’s information and requirements in connection with each race. I confirm that I have navigational skills appropriate for each race and will carry throughout the race any equipment specified either by BOFRA, the FRA Safety Requirements or by the organiser. I accept the hazards involved in fell running and acknowledge that I will enter and compete in each race at my own risk. Other than the Organiser’s liability for causing death or personal injury by negligence, I confirm that I understand that the Organiser accepts no liability to me for any loss or damage of any nature to me or my property arising out of my participation in these races.”.
