It was a beautiful sunny day for this years Muker Show Fell races and fortunately the river was low enough to allow the shorter route and provided a welcome cooling on the return with 72 Seniors and 21 juniors taking part.
Race winner was Louis Hudson of Keighley & Craven in a time of 12:08 whilst first lady was Hannah Cairns of Wharfedale Harriers in a time of 15:48.
The Under 17 race was won by Jack Eccles of Lancaster and Morcambe in a time of 13:17 whilst first U17 girl was Vicky Woof of Howgill Harriers in a time of 17:19.
In the Under 14’s race, Fraser Dunn of Helm Hill was first boy in a time of 07:17 whilst first U14 girl was Lily Slater of Ambleside AC in a time of 08:51.
Under 12’s first boy was Ryan Reynoldson in a time of 06:07 with first U12 girl, Sophie Rukin in a time of 06:13.
