Race Report
A fantastic finish on this race and with just one second between the first two places, it is the closest we have had for a while. In the end, it was Sam Watson who came out on top in 11:01 ahead of James Hall; who is having a fantastic start to his senior season. Third place went to James Dugdale 40 seconds adrift.
In the ladies race, Hazel Robinson pushed further ahead in the championship with her thrid consecutive race. She finished 25th overall in 13:59. Second lady was once again Kirsty Hall, with Molly Ralphson in 3rd.
We had reports of numerous runners cutting down on the senior descent short of the turn flag, whilst most simply followed in their tracks, some other, to their credit, climbed back to the flag before their descent. This was quite unfortunate and we will ensure that the flag is more clearly marked and marshalled next time
