Fortunately the threat of storms and rain receded as the day went on so it was a pleasant running for Embsay Fell Race with 92 Seniors and 106 juniors making it to the start line.
The winner once again as for most of the season was Simon Bailey in a time of 19:09 and once again ladies winner was Elsie Butler in a time of 20:59
