South Lakeland District Council has made it virtually impossible for the Gala itself to go ahead this year, so there will be no Gala.
HOWEVER, the organising committee have said that we can hold the race and are very supportive in this. So the race AND the camping weekend, including full use of the new pavilion, will go ahead. Please continue to register for the race on line, if you haven’t already, and also inform us if you intend to camp. This way, we have all the details we need for any eventuality.
Camping will be charged at £10 per night per family. Car parking on the day will be available on the sports field at a cost of £2, to be donated to the village pavilion funds.
Also a reminder that all dogs must be kept on leads at times all whilst on the sports field and in any farmers fields that we run through for the race.
