Information for Arncliffe Gala

Car parking costs £2 and is in a field on the left, just before you reach the village. Please bring exact change.  Its a short walk from here to the village green where registration will be.
Be aware that there is a road race taking place, at 1pm, before the fell race, so watch out in case there are runners on the road. Please don’t try to park in the centre of the village.
Fell races start at 2pm, and will follow on after the last runner from the previous race arrives.  We will be making presentations for both this race, and also prizes held over from the previous races, so if you should have received a prize or trophy please be sure to stay around.  Prizegiving will be after the senior race.
There’s no proper Gala this year but there will be a cake stall either on the green or in the village hall, depending on the weather.  Toilets should be open in the village hall.

Although restrictions have now been eased we still want people to keep taking precautions when they come to BOFRA races as we do not want any outbreak traced back to us.  It would be appreciated if people still wear a buff or face mask to cover their mouth and nose when collecting numbers and on the start line.

All runners Seniors and Juniors, must bring full kit. ( Waterproof jacket, trousers, hat, gloves)

Please bring payment for your race. No need to put in an envelope any more. Cash or cheques payable to BOFRA.  £2 for Juniors and £5 for Seniors.

There is a now just a single race for each age category.

No smoking is allowed and all dogs must be on leads in any of the race fields.
