Information for Farleton Knott

Reminder that for Seniors it is a revised shorter course, so check the map.
Car parking costs £2 and is in a field on the left as you drive along the A6070 after turning off the A65 at the roundabout . Please bring exact change.
It would be helpful if BOFRA Members could state their number when declaring their presence and paying for their race.

Although restrictions have now been eased we still want people to keep taking precautions when they come to BOFRA races as we do not want any outbreak traced back to us.  It would be appreciated if people still wear a buff or face mask to cover their mouth and nose when collecting numbers and on the start line.

All runners Seniors and Juniors, must bring full kit. ( Waterproof jacket, trousers, hat, gloves)

Please bring payment for your race. No need to put in an envelope any more. Cash or cheques payable to BOFRA.  £2 for Juniors and £5 for Seniors.

Do not assemble near the start line till at least the previous race has set off. Junior races will follow on from each other, starting at 12 noon. Seniors will not be before 1.30pm.  We will be presenting series prizes to date for Juniors after the U17’s race, and for Seniors after the Senior race, along with prizes for todays race.

There is a now just a single race for each age category.

No smoking is allowed and all dogs must be on leads in any of the race fields.

No climbing of walls.  Please ensure your children do not climb any walls.

We will be taking Entry on Day if anyone has not yet registered.
However No Membership on Day

Do not gather in large groups to spectate.

Remember!!
You must not attend the race if you are showing any signs of COVID-19 symptoms:
– a high temperature,
– a new, continuous cough,
– a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
In addition, do not attend if you have :
– been in contact with – anyone showing any signs of COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days
– been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace service,
– travelled within the last 14 days to an international location where self-isolation is required following your visit.
